Products that I've Visualised through CGI Rendering:
The Projects:
Below showcases the projects that I've produced product imagery for. These images have been used by my employer and the client for marketing purposes. Using Keyshot, I was allowed to build studio and real work environments to render to product CAD model to create realistic representations of the product within a timeframe, to meet outlined budgets set by the client and my employer.
The Lightsaber:
The Lightsaber was a passion project of mine to create a 3D printable/working lightsaber to take with me to SWC23. This project allowed me to learn new skills in material texture, to create a weathered look to the metal parts, to make it look more realistic. While also learning new skills in assembly animation.
The MagSafe Max:
The MagSafe Max was a passion project of mine to create a 3D printable/working iPhone & AirPods charging dock. This project allowed me to learn new skills in material texture, to create a clean (Apple aesthetic) look to the metal parts, to make it look more realistic. While also learning new skills in assembly animation.
The eVe:
The eVe was a passion project of mine to create a 3D printable/working plant pot soil sensor. This project allowed me to learn new skills in material texture, to create a indoor plant pot that's modernised aesthetic to the plastic parts, to make it look more realistic. While also learning new skills in showcase animation.
The Lockjaw:
The Lockjaw is a patented ladder grip that is used by tradesmen to securely lock their ladder in place against the roof guttering, to prevent the ladder from falling. I created imagery and an assembly animation of the product to reflect what the product is, how it looks, and how it works.
Laserforce:
Laserforce has been manufacturing and battle testing our own equipment for thirty years, longer than anyone else, making Laserforce gear the pinnacle of laser tag technology. With this project, the challenge I had was with manipulating the product material and internal lighting to create a realistic light diffusion that the real world product creates when in low light environments.
Baby Bot Bot:
The Baby Bot Bot is a plastic enclosure that wraps around a baby bottle allowing for kids to easily grab the bottle and preventing the bottle from touching the floor when dropped. With this project, the challenge I had was with manipulating the product geometry to create a realistic representation of when the product is placed over a baby bottle and have it situated in a context environment.
Snorex Mouthguard:
The Snorex Mouthguard is a snoring prevention product that users place in their mouthes before sleep. With this project, creating a realistic representation of the real life product was a challenge, in how the blue semi transparent material react with other materials and studio lighting so it can match.
Touring Essentials Cupholder & Arm Rest:
The Touring Essentials Cup Holder & Arm Rest is a premium Australian designed and made product that sits perfectly on the Dash of your ‘70 series‘ Land Cruiser. With this project, the challenge was to visualise the mood tech finish in the show face of the product, while creating an animation that represents how the product works when a can is stored in it.
Action Products Bar Chair:
The Action Products Bar Chairs are an Australian designed and made product t ideal for supporting reinforcing mesh when pouring concrete.
Featuring a convenient clip on system, they are quick and easy to use and unwanted movement is eliminated.. With this project, the challenge was to create a ruff aesthetic to the product material to show that it's used for work sites, while creating an animation in its unique stacking design.
Maxtrax MK1:
The Matrix MK1 was a 1st series design of the famous off road recovery board that was Australian designed and manufactured. The challenge with this product was creating a context representation of the product that can allow for viewers to understand its context of use.
Neat Wares Entertainment Tray:
The Neat Wares Entertainment Tray is a compact and portable food storage solution for any event. This project allowed me to create a wide variety of context shots for this product allowing it to stand out from the photo to also give it more context.
Willow Soil Moisture Sensor:
The Willow Soil Moisture Sensors is a fully funded Kickstarter campaign that's delivering a compact and user friendly moisture sensor device that tracks the moisture levels in plants and notifies the user when it is low. This project allowed me to explore new ways to represent this product in how the silicon light pipes function, how of the certain internal components fit together and how it assembles.
